In this video, produced by NJTV News, Childlife Specialist Christopher Beggs at Joseph M Sanzari Children’s Hospital, Hackensack, NJ, assists a Leukemia patient through the procedure, using AppliedVR goggles to reduce anxiety and pain. Ryan, the patient, describes his experience and the positive impact VR has made on his time in the hospital. Due to the success of VR in pediatrics, the hospital has expanded use into all of its units.
