In this video, produced by Clemson University, South Carolina, we hear from Joshua Biro, Phd Student of Industrial Engineering, Clemson Human Interaction Lab and Dr. Elizabeth Cull, medical oncologist at Greenville Memorial Hospital, Greenville, South Carolina.They report on their study on the use of therapeutic VR in chemotherapy. Joshua explains the emotional challenges of his role in administering the study to patients. Dr. Cull notes that VR Therapy enables chemo patients to escape the four walls of the hospital during treatment, by giving them the choice of an alternative, calming space.
